SOCIOLOGY & MEDIA STUDIES

This course aims to introduce an overview of sociology and media studies as personal lenses to understand the social world and interpret media messages.

INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION & ORGANISATIONAL BEHAVIOUR

This course aims to provide learners with knowledge of the role of culture and communication in business including managing and leading individuals, groups, and teams in multicultural complex environments.

NEW ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT & SMALL BUSINESS

This course aims to introduce learners to concepts and processes for new enterprise or small business development.

ANTHROPOLOGY

This course aims to enhance and develop humanities-based research competencies using critical thinking and problem solving skills applied to a personal auto-ethnography study.

CRITICAL THINKING & PROBLEM SOLVING

This course aims to enhance and develop research competencies using critical thinking and problem solving skills applied to humanities subjects.

STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT & MARKETING

This course aims to enhance strategic management and strategic marketing knowledge and capability.

SUSTAINABLE PRACTICE & OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

This course aims to provide learners with understanding of a range of approaches to sustainability in business as well as enhancing the understanding of managing a sustainable operation.

INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP

This course aims to provide opportunities for learners to develop innovative and entrepreneurial ideas.

MANAGING PROJECTS

This course aims to enhance competencies related to managing projects.

MANAGEMENT CAPSTONE PROJECT

This course aims to provide learners with a practical learning and reflective experience in which they can employ advanced theories, concepts and techniques in specialised Business Management project. This course focuses on enabling learners to consolidate their ability to create and realise complex Business Management work in a variety of contexts.

Minimum requirements

  • Successfully gained University Entrance or equivalent, with credits in relevant subjects, applicants will be expected to submit a portfolio of work for selection.
  • International students will be expected to have attained New Zealand Certificate in English Language (NZCEL4)—Academic or equivalent (IELTS 6.0—Academic overall with no band lower than 5.5).
