Edenz TESOL College has provided a specialised programme for teacher training since 1994, in Teaching English to Speaker of Other Languages (TESOL) and Teaching English to Child Speaker of Other Languages (TECSOL).

The TESOL qualification provides you with the skills to teach English in the communicative method, to students whose first language is not English. Moreover, Edenz has been a validated Centre of Trinity College, London, since 1994, offering Trinity Certificate in TESOL and for experienced teachers, the Diploma in TESOL. Both courses are also recognised and approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA).

Trinity Teaching Diploma and Certificate courses are suitable for native English speakers, or those who are very fluent speakers of English. The equivalent NZQA approved courses may be preferred for non-native English speakers.

Our TECSOL courses also provide teacher training skills for International students wanting to teach in early childhood centres, kindergartens and/or primary schools in their home country. This has been especially popular for young women from Taiwan, Japan, Korea and China.
